Ata Yatırım Daily Bulletin: Index Balancing Before Holiday
On the first trading day of the week, Borsa Istanbul saw a buying trend. Strong purchases in banking stocks supported the index, with the BIST 100 closing at 13,890, up 0.60%. The banking index rose 2.28%, and the industrial index gained 0.99%.
Expectations Before the Holiday
With a shortened trading day due to the holiday, the index is expected to move sideways in a narrow range. Stock-specific movements and sector divergences may be more decisive. No major domestic or Eurozone data is expected, but US Consumer Confidence and housing price indices will be monitored.
Technical Outlook
Technical indicators show continued recovery efforts. If the 50-day moving average at 13,945 is broken, positions can be increased. Initial targets are 14,312 and then 14,532 resistance levels. In case of a pullback, 13,720 will be the first support level.
