Live Cattle Futures Flat Amid US-Iran Tensions

Rising Crude Oil Prices Impact Cattle Market
The resurgent fighting is being felt in crude oil futures, which are up 2.3% to over $90 a barrel. For cattle, higher crude oil and inflation worries are pressing on cattle prices, as high-priced beef may become something consumers replace with cheaper proteins.
StoneX notes, 'It's leading us to call the cattle market steady to lower.' Lean hog futures are down 0.5%.
