Costco Starts Submitting Tariff Refund Claims
Costco CEO Ron Vachris announced on the company's earnings call that they have begun submitting tariff refund claims. Vachris stated that submissions will be made over the next few months, and based on other claimants' experiences, refunds on approved claims should start arriving on a rolling basis over the following two to three months.
The company plans to return to its members, in some form, the portion of tariffs that were passed on to them. This move aims to provide cost relief to consumers.
