Long-Term JGB Yields Steady Ahead of US Inflation Data
Long-term Japanese government bond (JGB) yields are steady ahead of the US PCE inflation data due later Thursday. Investors will be closely watching the key gauge of US prices and any impact on US Treasury yields.
Meanwhile, the 2-year JGB yield is down 1.5 basis points at 1.365% as overnight declines in crude-oil prices eased near-term inflation fears. The 10-year JGB yield is flat at 2.690%.
