Competition Consumer Commission of Singapore Accepts Commitments to Clear Merger of EV Charging Companies
The Competition and Consumer Commission of Singapore (CCCS) has conditionally approved the proposed acquisition of Strides YTL Pte. Ltd. by SP Mobility Pte. Ltd., subject to commitments offered by SPM.
Commitments and Conditions
SPM has undertaken to notify the regulator of any price adjustments at the parties' East HDB EV charging points. Commitments include that EV charging prices will not exceed pre-proposed transaction levels. These commitments will last for three years from 28 May 2026.
