The joint venture secures €600 million financing and a €100 million revolving credit facility. The combined enterprise value is set at €1,420 million.
UPM will receive €475 million in cash, €98 million in shareholder loans, and 50% equity in the joint venture. Sappi will receive €90 million in cash, €10 million in shareholder loans, and 50% equity.
